Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Canteen
The school canteen operates daily from 8.30am until 1.40pm. Parents and carers can place orders online using the flexischools app only.
Flexischool app can be downloaded on the App Store and Google play.
Toukley Public School Canteen is an accredited Healthy Canteen since 2009 and we implement the Fresh Tastes @ School- NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy as directed by the NSW Government.
The canteen operates in conjunction with the Parents and Citizens association to provide a service to our students. Our prices are kept at a realistic level and all profits from are directed back to the school to assist with resources and equipment for all students.
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit the Department's Healthy School Canteens Strategy to learn more.
Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.
