Creative arts

Creative arts is mandatory for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

In creative arts, students discover a variety of art forms through a study of dance, drama, music and visual arts where they learn to appreciate, compose, listen, make and perform.

Each art form has its own unique knowledge and skills, elements or concepts as well as a capacity to inspire and enrich lives.

Choir

Toukley Public School offers choir as an extra curricular activity. The choir members are passionate about the choir and are more than ready to forgo their recess and lunchtimes to rehearse.

Our choir is heavily involved in local community events. They have been invited to perform at the Senior Citizens Centre for Senior's Week, Toukley Anzac Day service, the Maritime Remembrance Service at Norah Head light house and the Lighting of the Christmas Tree in Toukley Village Green.

They enjoy performing in our Performing Arts Showcase and at all school special events, including our Annual Presentation ceremonies.

The choir is always looking for new members to participate.

Dance

Students at Toukley Public School are given the opportunity to participate in a range of different dance groups throughout their schooling career.

Our dance groups are involved in local community events and enjoy participating in the Central Coast Dance Festivals.
